Territory

Apulia is a land of history, traditions, nature, spirituality, taste and enchanting landscapes. A place to visit all year round. This region in fact offers a diversified and therefore wonderful scenery. The sea with its crystal clear color offers sandy beaches for families and lovers of long walks, beaches made of rocks for those who love diving or relaxing in the beautiful rocky coves. The region has two seas where you can see the sunrise and sunset on the same day.
From north to south, the Apulia Region represents a territory characterized by a fascinating environment: the sea. The coasts of this territory from the Tremiti Islands, in the north, to the Salento, straddling the two Ionian and Adriatic seas, until reaching the tip of the region with the town of Santa Maria di Leuca offer a landscape characterized by crystal clear waters, caves, sandy beaches, rocky inlets and dense vegetation.
But Apulia also offers natural wonders, history and traditions. From the Gargano Park, in the north, to the Murge Park it is possible to immerse yourself in nature, get away from the big cities and live in contact with nature. Gentle hills are home to national parks, ravines and evocative landscapes of vineyards and olive groves. The red earth is in contrast with the white lime of the ancient historical centres, places of tradition.
For lovers of history and traditions, instead, each village or town more or less tells its own identity. A territory with ancient roots from prehistoric times to Magna Graecia, then from the Imperial Age to the Renaissance and Baroque. Every phase has marked this land. It was also an important port that absorbed the traditions of others and enriched its identity. Unique buildings such as the trulli, for example, offer a real testimony of the rural life of our ancestors, today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the castles and towers that embellish the south. Popular music, festivals, festivals that represent the hospitality and generosity of this people.
