The house is alive when it does not rest on the place where it is located, but sinks its roots there; these same roots reappear on the hill in the form of fruits that protect and enhance the building. Thus the inhabitant surrounded and enveloped by vineyards becomes nature and landscape itself.
The house preserves from the outside the appearance, shape and materials of a traditional building of the Langhe region, but once crossed the threshold reveals the spaces and qualities of a luxurious modern house. The whole house is embellished with the treasures accumulated by the owners during their travels around the world, first among them is the entrance door carved in Marrakech, but now firmly fixed on the facade of the building. When you enter the house you are welcomed into a huge space that houses all your daily life. First there is the large kitchen facing the sunset with its covered dining area and the stone and brick barbecue. From the kitchen you overlook the rest of the floor which, with the exception of the service bathroom, develops into one large space with the dining room and the living room in communication. In the living room between the cashmere sofas and ethnic furniture from China to Polynesia you are surrounded by huge windows that frame the Alps all around the house. The same view can be enjoyed from the outside living room which, protected from sun and rain, joins the house to the large stone infinity pool towards the mountains. Upstairs are the six bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and each with its own palette of colours reminiscent of the seasonal nature that alternates outside the window. At the top of the building is the master suite with the largest of the three terraces on the floor, the outdoor living room through the glass window doubles the size of the room in the loggia. Looking around this room, as in the living room on the lower floor, the view ranges 270 degrees between all the vineyards surrounding the property. In the basement are hidden the "secret" spaces of the house with the ancient wine cellar and the cinema.
